Academic year in a public high school

Term or academic year in a Spanish high school

This programme provides an excellent opportunity for teenagers who want to learn and improve their Spanish. Our Spanish school at Top School has designed a programme so that foreign students have the chance to spend a semester, trimester or a whole school year in a Spanish high school.

The students on this programme will go to school like the rest of normal Spanish students. The course consists of 6-7 hours of class per day, from 8 a.m.- 2/3 p.m. Should they so wish, in the afternoons students can receive an extra hour or two of Spanish classes at Top School. The classes are taught by highly-qualified, experienced teachers whose objective is to provide students with the necessary communicative tools for them to get on and make the most of their stay here in Spain, and putting their Spanish into practice in daily situations.

With a view to immersing the students further in Spanish life and culture, they will live with host families on a full-board basis. At Top School, we guarantee that a student will never be housed with another from the same country or who speaks the same language. Where possible, we will also do our utmost to place them in families with children of a similar age, thus allowing potential friendships to flourish. Living with a Spanish family is the best way to perfect the language and our students will take part in all their activities, events, general daily life, etc, thus becoming another member of the family. This will help them to adapt quickly to life here in Elche and to the Spanish way of life.
