Methodology

Methodology of our Spanish courses

Top School has strongly adhered to the Common European Framework for Languages (CEFL) and Instituto Cervantes’ directives, which establish a 6-tier scale of levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2).

Our vast experience in language teaching has led us to design a methodology which focuses on a communicative approach, so that students can interact with Spanish speakers in real-life contexts. Here at Top School, we firmly believe that speaking foreign languages is an essential skill for life.

We place great emphasis on integrating Spanish customs and culture into the classroom, through the means of exercises, texts, role plays and games.

The teaching material used in our Spanish classes is always fresh, up-to-date and varied, while at the same time related to daily situations, so that students’ learning is as real as possible. ICT plays an important role in the way we teach, and with it we hope to motivate and stimulate our students’ progress, thus achieving the objectives set at each level.

We guarantee that these goals, through careful planning and development of course content, are achieved at each stage of learning Spanish, from beginners to advanced students.

We pride ourselves on the open, friendly and tolerant atmosphere that is found in the Top School classroom, where cultural diversity is embraced and where respect is not an ideal but a reality.
